How do I know which stage/size to buy for my baby?
Selection is based on age and feeding speed: Stage 1 (0–2m), Stage 2 (2–5m), Stage 3 (5–8m), Stage 4 (8m+), and Stage 5 (12m+) for older toddlers needing a faster flow. If your baby is struggling to finish a bottle or getting frustrated, it may be time to move up a stage.
Are these nipples compatible with other bottle brands?
Mother-K Basic Nipples are designed to fit Mother-K wide-neck bottles perfectly. They are also compatible with most other standard wide-neck bottles eg. Moyuum and Groscimi (approx. 5cm diameter), but we recommend using them with Mother-K bottles for the best anti-colic performance.
Can I sterilize these in a UV sterilizer?
Yes. The high-quality medical-grade silicone is safe for UV sterilization, steam sterilization, and boiling water (for 30 seconds). It is designed to withstand frequent sterilization without clouding.
Why is my nipple collapsing during feeding?
This usually happens if the anti-colic air valve is stuck or blocked. Before feeding, gently pinch the valve at the base of the nipple to ensure it is open and allowing air to circulate properly.
